Moon Mermaid
When Alice sat down in the lake, I pictured her colorful Padme Amidala dress transforming into a mermaid tail. I tested out Photoshop generative fill with this edit. I literally selected the entire bottom of the dress in the water and asked generative fill for a mermaid tail. After 10+ tries, this is the result. :)
I dream that if Queen Amidala were to touch the ocean, she would make the entire ocean glow and glitter like the stars in the sky. So I pictured her playing with bioluminescence in the water. I darkened the entire surrounding, balanced out the sunny water spots, and added blue sparkles around her tail.
Finally, I cleaned up the photo by removing the log right in front of her, added glow-in-the-dark fins to her hair, added a finger ring, and ironed out wrinkles in the dress.

Joshua Tree: Desert View Conservation Area I originally took this photo in landscape format. I wanted a 4:5 crop, but I was going to be removing some of the mountains, which I didn't want. So, I used Photoshop's new Generative Expand to extend the top and bottom of the photo. It even added the sun to the sky and matched the direction of light with the original shadows in my photo! So crazy! Swipe to see the original landscape version.

Tumblr, I have a challenge.
Tumblr media
This is a photo I took and posted here, but this time, I added six new goats using Photoshop's generative AI.
Without looking at the original photo, can you guess which ones are fake? Remember, there's six that are AI.
I have an edited version with the AI ones circled that I can reblog this with.
(Disclaimer- I am not advertising nor endorsing AI use, this is a demonstration/experiment. I do not agree with using AI for making 'art', because the models are trained from real artists that did not consent to their work being used. AI 'art' is stolen content.)

I used Photoshop to make a more complete image from this photoshoot's original image. I think it turned out rather well 😎 Happy Goran Thursday 🔥

Generative Fill for Krita (not Photoshop)
Do you want to ditch Adobe Photoshop for Krita, but think it's going to be hard to live without Photoshop's "Generative Fill" tool? Well check this out:

Just some ad folk on the internet.
It took five times longer to coax Adobe's generative fill to produce man legs in denim shorts than woman in denim shorts.

Happy National Coffee Day! It's good to the last drop! ☕️
I start every morning with a cup of coffee. What about you? Coffee or no coffee? Tea maybe? Or, are you a purist water only drinker?
I created this image with an actual photo of a coffee that I purchased one day. The photo was a close-up of the cup, taken vertically on my phone. I then used the Generative Expand and Generative Fill AI tools in Adobe Photoshop to create a square crop and add the sugar cube pattern and pink background. Swipe to see the before and after images! #AdobeFirefly #MadeWithPhotoshop #CreativeCloud

I let AI do its zoom out, background extrapolation thing (via CapCut) with some of my artwork and the results were interesting, hilarious, sometimes beautiful, and sometimes scary. The last one is my absolute favorite. I love it. (When I have time, I will come back and add the originals but, basically, the centers of each picture are the originals though I did crop a few for aesthetic reasons.)
